what to bring
Here is a recommended Camping Equipment List (for you and your scout)

Each Person:
Each Family:
- Sleeping bag
- Sleeping pad / mattress
- Pillow
- Mess kit – cup, plate, bowl, spoon, fork, knife (or “spork”) (Reduces waste, but P55 will provide disposable wares)
- Flash lights (Preferably head lamps – less likely to get lost) with extra batteries
- Extra socks
- Hat ( Knit if camping during fall)
- Change of clothes – in case of water or food accident
- Appropriate Scout book
- Class A & Class B Uniforms (Cub Scout/Leader)
- Sleep clothes
- Water bottle filled with water at home. There will be water at the site but most people prefer at least to start on home water.
- Toiletries – toothpaste, toothbrush, soap and towel. We are never away long enough to worry about showers
- Long pants
- Fleece or other warm top
- Hiking boots or sturdy walking shoes
- Rain Gear
- Personal medication
- Camp chair per person
- Swim suit if water activity is part of campout

- Stakes
- Mallet (or a good rock)
- Ground tarp
- Sunscreen
- Bug Spray
- Wet wipes for quick hand cleaning/Hand Sanitizer
- Toilet Paper
- Cooler for lunches/personal drinks/snacks
